Funmi Omisope – Founder/Executive Director
Funmi has thirteen years of experience in the education and development sector and as a public speaker. She earned a Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed) in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Ibadan and a Postgraduate Certificate in Social Sector Management (SSM) from Pan Atlantic University, Nigeria
As the Founder/Executive Director of Home and Street Kids Welfare Initiative (HSKi), she is equally the Proprietress of The Oasis Academy (TOSA), an educational development center for street kids; the Co-founder of NaiHealth, a health solution that promotes Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and access to holistic health products and services in Nigerian communities; the Founder of The Rebuilders Quarters, a mentorship platform for problem solvers; and the Educational Advisor to ThinkBiz Africa.
In the past, she has worked and volunteered with other nonprofits including Kings Call at Koma Hills Nigeria, Grace Orphanage in Ondo State Nigeria and Adegrange Child Foundation in Lagos, Nigeria. In these places, she worked in various capacities as a Counselor and Caregiver, Teacher and Project Manager respectively. Through all these experiences, she has developed strong skills in social sector management, project management, child development and child rights advocacy, and community development
Kikiope Oluwarore – Consultant/Director of Projects, Grants and Partnership
Kikiope has five years of experience in the public health sector and freelance writing. She earned a DVM degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, and a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Global Health and Infectious Diseases from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. She currently works with HSKi as the Consultant Director of Projects, Grants and Partnerships where she manages, raises funds and establishes beneficial partnerships for organizational projects.
She is equally the founder of MyAnimal,MyHealth (MAMH), a consultancy that provides public education and manages projects on correlated issues of animal, human and environmental health. In the past, she has worked with nonprofits and international media organizations such as Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI) of the United States Consulate in Nigeria, Forward Africa, Internews’ Earth Journalism Network and Code4Africa’s ImpactAFRICA program, where she managed various public health and journalism projects. Through all these experiences, she has developed strong skills in public health, project management and freelance writing. Kikiope enjoys topics of global health, one health and writing for advocacy and social change.
Inufin Elizabeth – Operations and Admin Officer
Elizabeth earned a BSc degree in sociology from Bayero University Kano and an MSc degree in Medical Sociology from the University of Ilorin.
Currently, she works with HSKi as the Director of Administration where she oversees all administrative, operation and communicative processes of the organization including managing finance, vendors and other related processes. In the past, she has worked with MTN, a leading telecommunications organization in Nigeria as a customer service representative.
